The purpose of this policy is to inform data subjects about the various processing operations carried out by this organization through the web page and which concern their personal data, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation (UE) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016, as well as of Law no. 190/2018 regarding GDPR implementation measures.

Our website uses modules (plugins) of the YouTube platform, based on technology provided by Google. YouTube will associate your browsing behavior with your personal profile only if you are logged into your account. You can avoid this by logging out of your account.

Online seminars and webinars

The personal data collected in the registration process will be processed by SEGURIDAD Y PRIVACIDAD DE DATOS S.L. (FORLOPD), for the purpose of managing your registration and sending you webinar-related notifications and, if you give us your consent, to inform you about future courses or events related to our activity.
This seminar will be recorded for the purpose of dissemination and reuse of the training material. Only the image and voice of the speakers will be recorded. In case of participants, their image or voice will not be recorded or displayed. However, if you don't want to appear involuntarily, we recommend that you do not activate the camera or microphone during the session.
After completing the seminar, you may be sent a quality questionnaire to assess your level of satisfaction.

FORLOPD | Data Security and Privacy, S.L. has a WhatsApp channel, for the purpose of handling requests, complaints and incidents and, as the case may be, of sending commercial communications regarding the products or services that are part of our activity and/or news or newsletters in our field.

5. DATA RETENTION TERMS OR CRITERIA

The personal data provided will be kept for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were originally collected.

Once the data is no longer necessary for the processing in question, they will be kept with appropriate security measures, to be placed, as the case may be, at the disposal of competent authorities and public institutions, courts or the Public Ministry, during the limitation periods applicable to the actions that could arise from the relationship maintained with the client and/or during the retention periods provided by law.

If you have provided us with your curriculum vitae, we will keep the data for a maximum period of two years from the date of its receipt, at which point we will proceed to delete them, unless you have updated your data or authorized us to keep it for a longer period than indicated. In this sense, we inform you that you can withdraw your consent at any time.

Data retention period

  • CIVIL CODE – Time of 3 years, in accordance with the provisions of art. 2.517 from the mentioned normative act, relating to the general statute of limitations.
  • COMMERCIAL CODE – Time of 5 years, in accordance with the provisions of art. 51 from the mentioned normative act, regarding the obligation to keep commercial registers and documents.
  • ACCOUNTING LAW NO. 82/1991- Between 5 and 10 years, as the case may be, in accordance with the provisions of art. 28 and 35 from the mentioned normative act, regarding the limitation period of the tax authority's right to establish tax claims.

6. AUTOMATED DECISIONS AND PROFILING

The website does not adopt automated decisions and does not perform profiling.

7. RECIPIENTS

During the period of processing your personal data, the organization may forward the data to the following recipients:

  • Courts of law.
  • Forces and public order bodies.
  • Other competent authorities or public bodies, when the operator has a legal obligation to provide personal data.

8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

The organization does not carry out any international data transfers. In the event that it would later be necessary to make international transfers, the degree of protection of the destination country will be checked and the guarantees required by the applicable legislation will be adopted.

Data subjects can request additional information regarding the processing of personal data and can exercise, at any time and for free, the rights of: acces, rectification and deletion; to request the limitation of the processing of their personal data; to object to processing; to request data portability (as long as technically possible); to withdraw the consent given; and, as the case may be, not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

To exercise these rights, you can use the forms provided by the organization or you can send a request to the postal or email address mentioned in the beginning section of the policy. To this end, you may be asked for an identity document (bulletin) or an equivalent document, to confirm your identity, only if this cannot be achieved by other less intrusive means.

11. ACCURACY OF DATA

The data subject guarantees that the data provided is real, exact, complete and up to date; and undertakes to inform about any modification thereof through the channels indicated in the section 1 of this policy. It will be liable for any direct or indirect damage caused as a result of failure to fulfill this obligation.

If the user provides data of third parties, declares that it has their consent and undertakes to communicate to them the information contained in this clause, exonerating the organization from any liability for failure to comply with this obligation.

This privacy policy may be modified or updated according to legal requirements, to adapt to the instructions given by the National Authority for the Supervision of the Processing of Personal Data or as a result of changes to our website. For this reason, we recommend users to periodically consult this Privacy Policy.
